Fofito and El Chupete present a "Menina por la Infancia"

El Chupete presented today in an official ceremony held at the Madrid City Hall his version in sculpture of the famous Menina by Velazquez with which he is participating this year in the third edition of Meninas Madrid Gallery.

• The sculpture has been presented today at the Madrid City Hall to Vice Mayor Begoña Villacís.

El Chupete presented today in an official ceremony held at the Madrid City Hall his version in sculpture of the famous Menina by Velazquez with which he is participating this year in the third edition of Meninas Madrid Gallery.

The "Menina por la Infancia" has been decorated by the beloved Fofito and his daughter Mónica Aragón. According to the artist "we must transmit to children that despite the bad times we may be having, we must always approach life with optimism and humor".

For his part, the co-director of El Chupete, Christian Haltermann has commented that "for El Chupete it is an honor to promote the Menina in favor of children and that is why we felt that no one better than Fofito to represent the values of responsibility in the communication with children of various generations" he says.

Also, the foundation Pequeño Deseo will be the main beneficiary of the proceeds from the auction of this Menina in this third edition.

From October 15th until December 15th these sculptures, work of artist Antonio Azzato, will be exposed at the intersection of the streets Principe de Vergara with Don Ramon de la Cruz in the city of Madrid.

Meninas Madrid Gallery is one of the initiatives promoted by the Madrid City Council and the Business Association of the Textile and Accessories Trade (ACOTEX), within the framework of the project Madrid Capital of Fashion, which aims to strengthen the image of the city and shopping tourism.
